On Wednesday evening the 13/11/2013. A group of us will be going to Cowbridge Comp, to hear a lecture about George Cadogan Morgan. He was a nephew of Dr Richard Price. George Cadogan Morgan was visiting Paris when the French Revolution broke out and kept diaries of what he witnessed, and his struggle to escape from the 'Terror'. It should be a very interesting evening.

Well as I thought the lecture was very well presented, although it was sparsely attended. It is always a shame when societies put on these free events and word just does not get around in time. However the content and delivery of the lecture was brilliant, giving us some idea of what it was like to witness the very beginnings of the French Revolution first hand. Vive La France
